How irrelevant is this chart today?
>>107008534I don't think Python should be given a 1/5 on the difficulty scale. If you want to write "Pythonic" code you'll have to delve into abstractions that are unlike what most other languages look like.
>>107008534heres an easier flowchartare you indian -> javascriptis your sex and gender different -> rustare you writing for embedded (note - actual embedded and not """"embedded"""") -> care you quickly shitting something out to automate some task once only and will never look at it again ever -> pythonhere is an even easier flowchart for learning a language:do you actually want to understand the fundamentals of software and you have a high IQyes -> cno -> pick anything else
>>107008534>picrelJust too many things that are straight up wrong I guess it's meant as satire.
>>107008534>Average salary ~100kMore like minimum wage or unpaid internship because nobody is hiring
I'm Mexican and willing to work for a subhuman wage to an American overlord (Mexican economy is so bad that a couple bucks can buy me a mansion). I'm not a brainlet so I'm capable of thinking, and I want to work for something big (like Google or Microsoft) on a future that may never come, what should I pick?
>>107008534>How irrelevant is this chart today? It's a pretty lame chart, with all outcomes shitty, except for the C programming language."The only winning move is not to play".
>>107008706>If you want to write "Pythonic" code you'll have to delve into abstractions that are unlike what most other languages look like.Python can get unnecessarily difficult if you mess with it like changing class members at runtime and silly stuff like that. Of course, you need to learn "advanced" Python, but it is pointless -- you end up with shitty code anyways. Better to use a superior, higher level language.
>>107008826>do you actually want to understand the fundamentals of hardware and you have a high IQ>yes -> c>no -> pick anything elsefixed that for you
>>107009353The image was made before 2014
>>107010678It was made in 2014, see the Objective-C card
>>107008534Not as irrelevant as Objective-C and Ruby.
>>107008534Pretty much. Just multiply the dollar amounts on salary (eg; senior C++ devs are US$200K+ today).
