What is your favorite Emacs theme?
>>107010084Vscode.
Any doric/ef ones.
>>107010084In order: standard-dark, standard-light, standard-dark-tinted, modus-vivendi, modus-vivendi-tinted. And if I'm feeling adventurous I use an ef-theme (usually ef-trio-light or ef-winter).Prot's themes really have no competition desu. It wouldn't surprise me if standard-light becomes the default theme eventually.

>>107010084I used to use prot's shit but it kept shitting the bed with elpaca.
>>107010084modus-operandi
glad to see that this is a protGOD website
>>107010084I used to use ef-day, but switched to modus-operandi-tinted because it's built-in.It's a huge pain in the ass to make an Emacs theme and I'm not sure making a truly good one (not just palette-wise) is possible at all.
>>107010094doric dark's colors looks nice but the bold/italic shit looks terrible. his modus-operandi-tinted theme is much nicer, which i use when i want a light theme. it is so easy to write an emacs theme that i just ended up writing my own dark one that uses mostly soft desaturated green colors against almost black.
>>107010084I like many themes.catppuccinkaolin-templeef-dreamdoom-ayu-darkFor light themes, I likesouthef-reverieef-duo-light
Gruber. It has nice contrast.
bluloco dark
>>107010743Very nice anon. Never heard of this one. It's kind of like a higher contrast solarized.
>>107010084I am boring and mainstream. Stuck with doom-one dark since it existed. Before that it was Zenburn.
>>107010335forgot the aforementioned theme. aims to be soft on the eyes in pitch black
>>107011131That's a solid theme though. There are many good doom themes.
>>107010084I didnt like any of them so I made ny own
Ef Melissa when im in the mood for something light and otherwise modus vivendi tinted
>>107010609Why are you running it in a terminal?
Gruvbox but I'll probably end up porting Kanagawa paper's colors and use that instead
