it did not, they rebranded to ublick lite for manifest 3 and now have 3 set ups for filtering
i just installed the original ubo (non-lite) on ungoogled chromium and it still works

The biggest reason for keeping to use UO is the convenient custom filters rather than adblocking.

He turns on the TV, turns on the Youtube app, he hits play on some video, there's an add and you can only skip it after about 45 seconds. He waits, staring at the screen, then skips it. Maybe 3 minutes into the video, another ad starts playing, this time you can skip it after 30 seconds. Same thing, he watches it and then skips. I don't say anything, to him this is perfectly normal.
I tried chrome recently again and with ublock lite I don’t see ads and with scriptcat I installed the 4chan-xt script. Everything works like in Firefox. I think I’m gonna stay on chrome now
