How do you ACTUALLY clean a mousepad?Because I washed mine in soapy warm water three times (and scrubbed with a cloth) but when it dried to white areas appeared again
>>107016523I assume some foaming agent is needed. Something that foams up after it's applied to the pad. Carpet cleaner?Or just buy a new one, they're not expensive
>>107016523with a moderately high pressure spray nozzle
>>107016523i soak it in laundry powder and it works really well
Honestly I just throw them. Washing them fucks up the friction on the cloth and it's worse than when it's dirty.
>>107016523>and scrubbed with a clothScrub it with brush instead
>>107016523I got mine clean soaking it in a tub and scrubbing but it took week to dry and longer to straighten out. Fuck doing that again when I get sick of it I'll buy a new one.
>>107016523throw it away and buy a glass pad instead
>>107016600>>107016646I got a big one that's for the whole table... I guess that wasn't so smart
>>107016523stop splooging on it when you jerk off to your tranny porn.
>>107016523I just threw mine into the washing machine on warm and it came out fine
>>107016523You can wash them with dish soap and rinse them thoroughly with warm (not hot) water, but garbage ones will smell bad forever. After you do that 2-3 times throw it out and buy another one. It's a mouse pad. They aren't expensive, and you shouldn't need to wash them more than once or twice a year, even if you are a cheetoslob fat fuck.>>107016692Rotate it 180 degrees and then you get twice the life.Table pads are like 30 bucks, and they go on sale all the time. Amazon had the Glorious plain black ones for 18 dollars during prime week this year. At 30 bucks it's less than a nickel a day if it lasts you 2 years, and it should last quite a bit longer than that.
>>107016776Exactly what I do every two weeks and it's still going strong. The best part? It's a no-name brand desk mat from Amazon.
why would I need a mouse pad in the first place?
>he needs a mousepad
>>107016523i just throw mine into the wash whenever it gets dirtyand i doing it wrong?
>>107017028no, it only matters if you play shootan games and need consistency with your pad
yeah
>>107016523soap and warm water, you don't really need anything else
you buy a glass one and you wipe it down in 5 seconds once a week
>>107016651>>107017079pros and cons?
Just toss it in the washing machine with my clothes.
>>107016523With a vacuum.
>>107017289lower friction so it's effectively cutting down the weightincomparably faster to cleanthe con is that it's a rigid slab of glass so it takes a while to warm up with your body and you can't conform it around a surface
>>107016523it is probably leftover soap from inside i had to wring it out multiple times and harder than i expect or else you will see soap coming out
i put mine in the washer with rest of the laundry and it has survived so far.
>>107016523Whatever happened to the 99c custom mouse pad threads where everybody would share their meme prints?
Get a leather one.
by not using a mousepad
I just buy a new one every five years.
I use oven cleaner I leave it for 20 seconds and then wipe it looks brand new.

>>107016523Washing mine worked, but mine is just cloth.
>>107018458>Buying 20 dollar products every 2 years is too expensive.
>>107016523Just throw it in the washing machine
I have some cheap piece of shit from Amazon, I just throw it in the washing machine, then throw it in the dryer. Does the trick, no bad smell, no damage, no issues with friction. Also helps to not eat food near your computer, and to wash your hands before using your computer.
>>107016523>using a mouse padwhat a chud...
>>107016523Warm water, dish soap. Work the soap in there, rinse it off. Then take a plastic scraper and sort of scrape the mouse pad, pushing the water out of the fibers. Rinse, scrape, repeat until there's no soap left. Scrape one more time, let dry.
>>107016523Clean? Are you poor?
I have used the same mousepad since 1996, only cleaned it 3 times with a little water and a towel
i just use a spot cleaner
>>107022162imagine the smell
>>107016818>>arent expensivenormies get conned into buying expensive exclusive slop like this all the time thinking it will last forever
>>107016523I just straight up don't use them anymore.
>>107018829Thats alot of hamburgers down the drain
I buy a new deskmat every few years, I'm not washing that shit and then hanging it to dry lol. Even if you do, just tossing it in the washing machine isn't enough. They're also only like 20-30 on drop.
>>107016523You simply don't, so I replaced mine with a glass one.
>>107018190Damn youre acidic as fuck
>>107016523white mousepads don't have this problem
