why don't you just go all out and get utorrent pro for just 19.95 a year?
I'll repeat this amazing deal again, just 19.95 to pay for something that you can get for free

Just observe it's behavior. Literally not a single connection is established unless you manually tell it to start downloading something.

I'm not sure why people assume I'm lying. The last 4 games I torrented via qbittorent gave me corruption errors during installation. After redownloading it worked.

The reason people think you are lying is because you have been making threads lying about qbitorrent stalling, crashing and being buggy for years now.

You are either a schizo, a Hollywood Jew or a government agent.

>>107016941
If you want a comprehensive torrenting client, you can try BiglyBT.

This often happens when you use NTFS-formatted external drives in Linux. Or if you move files between drives with different filesystems. It should work after reverification tho.
>>
Never even heard of this issue. Fix your PC. I have seen the "Stalled" thing but it only lasts a few seconds and then resumes normally.

>>
>>107017000
your computer can do it quite easily in a bunch of hours?
>>
>>107017911
The scihub archives are around 80TB total or something to that effect.

If you're storing the kind of capacity where you have multiTB torrents, you're probably doing it on a NAS of some sort, and with reasonably decent hardware you can cruise along at multiple GB/second. 14TB would be under an hour to validate on my larger ZFS pool since it can handle about 4GB/s of read/write. Realistically the torrent client or badly configured NFS is going to bottleneck you long before the underlying storage is at those kinds of scales.

>>107016941
I'd wager that if you were on ZFS, btrfs or something else with transparent inline checksumming, it'd be throwing shitfits about your disk. Double check your cabling and double check that your drive isn't failing.

>>107017912
No.

There is a setting to automate recheck files after finish downloading, I have this enabled because I've had this happen too many times.

>>
>>107018186
>>107019864
I'm torrenting from windows to an external 1tb sd card (I'm torrenting off a steam deck). Could that be causing the issue? I'm going to test tixaxi with the same torrent today
>>
>>107016941
i have been using qbittorrent for years to download tbs of movies and games, never had a single issue across three different PCs and several hdd, ssd and nvmes
it truly sounds like a skill issue
Or you know, a complete lie to push another glowing torrent client like it happened above
>>
>>107016941
I have downloaded thousands of things and that hasn't happened once.

file corruption is IO related meaning either your memory is fucked (one of your ddr sticks, run memtest), your HDD/SSD is fucked or the file you've downloaded was flagged by some anti virus
>>
wasn't the old utorrent less than 1mb even? truly enshittification took over
>>
>>107025268
the enshittification started with utorrent
literally riddled with bundles of cancer like facebook, speedtest, AV, and other garbage
the last utorrent that was even remotely useable was 1.8.2 or 1.8.4

the shilled 2.2.1 is shovelware garbage bundled with niggerware
>>

>>
>>107025333
>the last utorrent that was even remotely useable was 1.8.2 or 1.8.4
I sometimes see people with these versions of utorrent in peer lists. I never understud why they never upgraded. Can you explain?
>>
It works perfectly on my machine.
>>
>>107026595
contrarian personality disorder new=bad
>>
>>107026595
idk. anything after 2.2.1 is cancer, not sue of the appeal of 1.8.x over 2.2.1. Either way I've used a recent release of qBit for the last decade or so
>>
>>107022661
It actually happened to me with an already finished torrent, it was a movie.
I could watch it normally but qbittorrent insisted that it was bad.
So I simply removed it from the program and left it in my disk.
The alternative is to use transmission but it lacks a dark theme which I want.
>>
>>107029516
A small bitflip corruption won't render a video file unplayable unless it's in very specific points. Video files don't have internal hash checks or CRCs, but the torrent file is a hash check. Sounds like you're having intermittent connection issues to the drive and data is being corrupted.
