Dell Inspiron 8100/Latitude C840 were the best laptops and were peak laptop

>4:3 for max SOVL
>two hot swap bays up front for two batteries
>hot swap bay also supported LS120/ZIP 100
>Not shitty Nvidia graphics
>had built-in DVD-RW
>clitmouse

We've never had anything like it since. I wished laptops would go back to swappable batteries when I had my C840 I had like 8 of them shits I did a 3 day road trip from FL to MO and I still had one battery left at the end of my trip.

Meh. I don't think Dell computers are "shilled" on 4chan. They have 8% of the laptop's market share, but are rarely talked about on /g/, in comparison.

Chinknovo & mac (and maybe the weird framework thingy, to lesser extent) are the brands that get disproportionate amount of exposure around here.
