Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to make it this way
Every time someone tries Linux or any FOSS and they see these ugly ass boxes they immediately realize it's not a serious OS/app. It's just some tasteless code monkey's hobby side project with no serious thought put into it.
It's fucking embarrassing and using anything with these humongous +- buttons is a humiliation ritual.
