PL/I (even though it's older than C and a more advanced ancestor of C), Pascal, Ada, and a lot of other languages already made C obsolete. Null-terminated strings were obsolete on DEC systems since the VAX came out in 1977 and had string instructions that use a length operand. They were never used on IBM mainframes or 8086 family at all (until C brought them decades after they were already obsolete). Null-terminated strings are the bubonic plague of data types only surviving in third world shithole languages before C brought them back.

Generally speaking, the more you spam something, the more people turn against it. The language may actually have some usecase (personaly I too think it's garbage just like anything trying to replace C), but autism will cause regulars to overlook this fact and they will never touch it just because it was spammed.

Obviously whoever happens to be behind these posts either truly hates Hare or the person developing it.
