Which kind of stove do you prefer? What do you think of air fryers?
>>
I don't cook. Cooking is for women & effiminate men.

>>
i dont cook because im an effiminate men
>>
I have an induction hob and it sucks shit. Air fryers are fantastic though, mine has basically replaced my oven because I'm always cooking for one anyway.
>>
I love my induction but it heats up the pan so fast it starts to warp it, so its only problem is that it works too well
>>

ywnbarm (you will never be a real man)
>>
gas. always works. I would like a gas range with 1 induction top just to boil water real fucking fast. yes I can pull out my electric kettle but that's annoying.
>>
I like gas better than electric. I've never used induction but it sounds good in theory.
>>
Electric because I'm a white man.

I got electric, it works fine. Induction is prob better efficiency but, electric is more compatible.

induction.
Everything else either poisons you or is crazy inefficient.

Induction is the best, but some people just refuse to buy new pots and pans

>non-gas fags
EU non-cucks, i.e. who didn't import gas from Russia and kept their Nuclear Power Plants are celebrating. Rest of EU is fucked.
>>
>>107027107
Or they can just start buying russian gas again
>>
>>107026438
I have solar panels. My bill is zero because I inject more energy than I use.
I put in the system some 6 years ago and it already paid it off. From now on, everything is profit.
The hilarious part is that my panels are completely obsolete nowadays. But since I don't need more energy, there is no point in even thinking about an upgrade.

they never stopped.
EU still uses Russian gas for everything; they just pay a lot more because it's "washed" by middlemen.
Like for example, fucking India selling gas to Germany. Or Poland buying Russian gas from Hungary.

BTW, EU never tried to ban Russian gas. They tried to impose a restriction on how much they would pay for it. As anyone can imagine, this did not work out.

I want to like induction but I can't stand the humming noise it makes, so I use gas instead since we already use gas for the boiler that heats the house.

Gas
>works when the power goes out

I grew up on a cattle farm in missouri and the land and water was so clean you could just eat the meat raw
I always think about that when I'm cooking my meat now, that I can't just scoop up some raw beef like when i was a kid, throw a lil salt on it and take a bite
>>
>>107028368
I think in Germany you can just buy ground beef and eat it raw like that
consider visiting if it's closer than Japan

electric is dogshit
>takes an hour to heat up (wastes your time)
>takes an hour to cool down (wastes energy)
>can't effectively modulate temperature on the fly without severe entropy lag
>inherently inefficient
>uneven
literally just a cheapo toaster
and inferior in every way to induction
>>
>>107025743
I don't have gas nor do I really want gas as it's subject to geopolitical kikery so induction it is. Perfection would be induction and gas.

i like fire

gas
finer control over temperature
works when the power's off
air fryers are full of bisphenol-A
>>

They're trying to now, are they not?

Gas is the only correct answer. LOL @ all the cooking channels on YT that are using isobutane camping stoves now because they're rent slaves in California.

Gas. Never had a gas stove until I bought my house. I was a little scared of it at first but within 60 seconds of using it I knew it was superior to induction and electric.

Also my air fryer is the most used appliance in my entire kitchen.

Electric is only good for boiling water.
>>
>>107028627
Not just any ground beef. Only special kinds that have higher standards on hygiene and freshness. With anything else it's still a gamble if it makes you sick.
>>
Induction is objectively the best. Gas is harder to clean and poisons your air.

Air Fryers are basically small ovens. They're good for everything that fits in them. Much faster and more efficient.
>>
>>107025743
I like the efficiency of induction and how fast it cooks up proper induction pots and pans. Gas has a lot of wasted heat that goes up in the air. Also, you need to have a separate gas line and have to fill up gas every once in a while.
The only electric ones I like are those exposed coil kinds which makes doing hot knives easy.
However, despite this, gas is still my preferred stove top. It seems like it's the most consistent and reliable at keeping heat as the flame is constant. And as for the gas argument, gas is actually nice to have when the power goes out. Just use a lighter. But in my case, I just hook my generator up to my tractor so it's not that important.
>>
>>107025743
I use induction, I believe gas is a little better but only the kind that comes into tank that goes under the counter. The price to have city gas at home is retarded.

Also induction is easier to clean. Electric is total dogshit. If you have kids or retarded people forgetting things are on, induction also safer.
>>
Gas is and always will be superior, it's not even comparable, any chef will tell you gas is the best.
>>
>>107025743
Induction followed by gas.
Coil electric is so gay and sucks.
>>
>>107025743

I've only ever had the gas kind

Extremely convenient and good for a lot of things, though clearly not everything

>>
>>107025743
Gas.
I don't like the idea of air fryers as they vast majority are mostly plastic and at the temperatures they operate at there would be some amount of off gassing of the plastic onto the food and that sound yuck. I'll suffer on with a fan forced oven.
>>
>>107027101
Does it work well with cast iron? I got a skillet two months ago after using "non-stick" aluminium ones my whole life and holy shit I'm never going back.
>>
>>107034378
Anything a magnet sticks to will work with induction, cast iron is very magnetic

Gas is king except I guess it poisons you. New electric works pretty well. Induction is a pita with hotspots, maybe expensive ones are better.

And still worse than an electric kettle at that.
>>

>I guess it poisons you.
It's methane which isn't at low concentrations isn't toxic at all and burns cleanly to perfectly safe CO2 and H2O.

The only danger is in a clogged up burner where it could burn incompletely and create CO, but that should never happen with a stove.
>>
>>107032218
>only the kind that comes into tank that goes under the counter. The price to have city gas at home is retarded.
I think it really depends where you live.
In many places they use gas for heating and hot water, so they need loads of gas and then laying some pipes is cheaper than hauling bottles all the time.

If you use don't use gas for heating you shouldn't use it for cooking either, just use induction.
>>
>>107025743
>Which kind of stove do you prefer?
$12 electric burner
I cook everything in the same cast iron skillet and eat straight from it.
I use the same spoon. I think I used to have a fork but haven't seen it in years.
I have a microwave but only use it for storage since it keeps out the mice.

They produce NOx and many also leak methane. Gas stoves being a health risk is undisputed.
>>
>>107025743
Never had induction but I'm pretty sure some of my stuff won't work on it. Electric stoves have been dog shit in my experience but they've been at apartments so maybe they cheaped out and higher end electric stoves are nice. My vote is gas. You can see the flame and gauge how much heat you need and it always works, even with shitty gas stoves. It can be dangerous with leaking gas or Co2 poisoning but it seems like a rare thing.
