There's a project manager that works with me on a few clients and while she's super nice and easy to work with, I genuinely feel like she only got hired because she's attractive. I have no idea how she got the job, she has literally zero knowledge of tech in any way. On a call with her she genuinely said, "what's a network?". I know that sounds completely bullshit but it honestly did happen. I end up having to lead all our calls with customers and at the end she repeats everything I've said and that's it. She even recently got promoted. Being in tech management must be the easiest job on the planet. So long as your team are doing serviceable work, you don't have to do anything.
