Chinese/Korean Tech
>cheap
>it just works
>lasts for ages
European
>overpriced
>poorly made
>planned obsolence built in

>"Why won't you support local producers?"
>>
unfortunately there's a reason why the west has deindustrialized. because their products are simultaneously SHIT quality and overpriced (sometimes, extremely overpriced). Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and China produce everything you want in terms of industrial products.

Chinese/Korean Tech
>cheap
>it just works
>lasts for ages

this is a lie they simply offer what Europeans offer for cheaper, at worse or same quality.
>>
>>107031825
Except for 3d printers.
Prusas are expensive but at least they don't lock you out and refuse to let you see logs or demand you contact support to "activate" a part
>>
>>107031825
>buy korean or chinkium appliance
>replace a part
>refuses to work unless support activates it
>all while support non-subtly suggests only poorfags don't just buy a new product
never again.

Western living patterns are suboptimal, and produces negative externalities that make their way into the manufacturing base, expressed as higher costs.

It is simply not possible for someone in the US to make a device at a lower cost than someone in Japan, for the same level of quality. Japanese can handle lower wages and higher standard of living. In the US wages need to be astronomical because living expenses are so high.

Externalities that hamper US manufacturing:
-Higher healthcare insurance costs from privatized inefficient insurance.
-Higher healthcare costs from unhealthy foods and lifestyles
-higher labor transportation expenses from their requirement to own a car, and be insured (insurance charges you more to offset uninsured drivers)
-higher housing costs from suburban sprawl (feedback loop with transport costs) and excess low quality manual labor (illegals)
-higher housing manufacturing costs from boom/bust construction cycles, where construction season instability leads to risks and volatility baked into the cost of building the house. In japan they constantly rebuild houses, its a steady industry.
-as housing is a steady industry, it can draw skilled labor as opposed to bottom of the barrel labor

I could go on and on. Tons of things like this. The US simply cannot compete in manufacturing with other nations, because their system of living is too inefficient and expensive.

I know some retard is going to argue with me, so here is your /v/irgin gaymer PC buildan clicky RGB keyboard LLM porno rot brain version:

>be US
>Terran player with 200 APM but base looks like spaghetti
>every SCV has to drive 3 screens to deliver minerals because I built my CC in the middle of nowhere
>spend half my minerals on “SCV insurance” so they don’t explode when they stub their toe
>medics cost double because they eat junk food
>housing boom every few minutes, then lose all units when it crashes again
>construction SCVs all unskilled because the good ones left for Japan server
>car dependency meta so bad my economy runs at 50% efficiency
>meanwhile JapanProtoss
>compact, clean base layout
>workers instantly mine, perfect transport network
>constant rebuild cycle so every builder is max level
>everyone healthy, low upkeep, smooth eco curve
>produces 1 Carrier for every 3 of my Siege Tanks, but still out-econs me
>tfw can’t compete because my whole base design is built around waste and chaos
>>
>>107031825
>European
You forgot
>parts hard to find and expensive as hell
I bought a house with a Miele dishwasher
>one place in the region that sold the replacement parts I needed
>they couldn't be assed to answer their phone or return calls
>they were aggressively disinterested in selling me stuff
And, worst of all, fucking dishwasher was 1/2" or 3/4" wider than a normal opening. So when we replaced it we had to do some cabinet fuckery.

>Higher healthcare insurance costs from privatized inefficient insurance
Chinks have private insurance. The only difference is they leave you to die in the street if you don't have money. You're not subsidizing every crackhead going to the emergency room for a cold.
>Higher healthcare costs from unhealthy foods and lifestyles
Nigger they cook with literal shit oil and smoke 3 packs a day.

Bosch dishwashers are more reliable than LG's, and Samsung makes some of the least reliable dishwashers in the market THOUGH

I'll pay you $100k to buy and use a Xiaomi phone for a year. if you don't use it for a whole year, you will have to return the phone and the $100k. deal?

Choke on my fuck, wumao.

I'd rather pay a $50 monthly subscription on a $500 American/European dishwasher than a Chinese $100 one-time-purchase dishwasher that might send my dishwashing habit data back to Beijing.

>>107034103
what will beijing do against you with that data? they can't put taxes on you for consuming too much like your local gov can

I own two homes, one of which I'm renting out. Why do you care so much about how we live when I couldn't give a single fuck about you?
>>
>>107035340
yuro propaganda tells them they have a higher standard of living but can't square it with the fact they'll never own a house
>>
>>107033772
Yeah my experience with LG and Samshit is they're just really aggressive about bribing reviewers and juicing stats and the traditional American or Japanese brands are generally better irl.
>>
>>107031825
Specifically for home appliances nothing really tops euro brands still in therms of reliability and actually doing their job well. In my experience american and turkish brands like Beko are by far the worst while chinese are a hit and miss.
>>
>>107035368
As someone who has lived both in the us and yuroland, I can tell you're brainwashed by 4chan memes and have a very skewed and broken perception of how europeans actually live. Vast majority of americans barely have it any better than east euros. Also it's hilarious that you believe they don't own houses
>>
>>107035617
How much did you engage with the bottom 50% of the population while you were there? German home ownership is roughly 20% lower per capita than America. Could it be your view is skewed by only being exposed to the 47% of euros who can afford houses? That certainly squares with all these gremlins who can't afford to run incandescent lightbulbs and keep seething about stick houses for no reason.
>>
>>107035340
Keep trying honey you'll manage to convince yourself soon enough
>>
>>107034422
nah, the point is it has to opened into the bag once done. in this case it's so overpressurred it just blasts everything to shreds.
