How will the incoming AI productivity boom change tech jobs? It's obviously coming, billions of dollars can't be wrong but how will it affect the average person?

I literally just finished writing an publishing an article on why AI can never be truly intelligent, and then I see this thread kek.
Anyway, I don't think it will. AI and vibe coding is only useful to people who can understand what it outputs, it's not reliable enough to let it work without supervision (or for huge code bases).

Why do you bother with this? They're just going to respond with 100x as many AI slop articles to ridicule you and say the opposite.

Genuinely just autism. I know it won't lead anywhere, but I wanted to put all the thoughts I've had about LLMs and machine learning into a package that felt coherent enough to me. Despite me majoring in CS, I come from a philosophy and humanities background so I'm used to writing long and obtuse essays that no one will ever read kek.

Sure, why not. Here: https://medium.com/@zilnullart/large-language-models-fundamentally-cannot-be-intelligent-4e88e87985db
tl;dr LLMs cannot problem solve, it's an architectural problem in all ML models and to solve this problem we need to find different ways to make machines learn. As it stands, the only way for LLMs to "solve" problems is by giving it the solution to said problem explicitly in its training data or input.
It's not really a ground-breaking article, I just put together a bunch of research articles and my own conclusions to try and formally explain why ML is unable to do "true" problem solving, so things like AGI and superintelligence are impossible rn.

First, we all lose our jobs. Then, we get UBI. Class stratification ceases to exist. The divide will be between people who have savings from the before-times, who will permanently be richer than everyone else, and people who were living paycheck-to-paycheck, who will all be equal with each other. True communist utopia.

What if I have 300oz silver and 1oz gold, will I be permanently slightly above average?

I love how AI has only ever been used to displace jobs and generate fear for most people. It has never been used for anything practical, or to help anyone. Just another Jewish scare tactic. At this point, I have to wonder if AI really just means Asians and Indian's. There are slave camps in both China and India just faking it all.

Well thanks to the AI boom I first had to set up my own self hosted services an isolation layers so the AI cannot fuck up my project which took me much time, so finally I can try it out if it was even worth it
