GIVE ME 1 TRILLION

Sure thing, lil podcasting bro

I'm really hoping this turns out worse than the dot-com bust and the financial crisis put together

yeah, but if Sammy's REALLY going for a £1 Trillion IPO, he'd better do it quick. Nobody's luck stretches as thin as he's been spreading his for too long otherwise

Imagine trillions going up in flames. If I was a kike holding the bag, I'd spend my remaining money to buy his head. In minecraft or something.

*tick tock*
Do you hear that? It's the clock ticking until the bubble pops.

>>107048833
These are very dangerous times.

It's a huge and risky gamble, and even if it pays off and """AI""" takes off it will only mean less jobs will be available for Americans and further consolidation of power at the top.

The markets are now solely propped up by Nvidia, OpenAI, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, Meta and Google, while every other company not in this bubble has been regressing since 2020, Tesla being the exception. They drag the markets up every day, while 80% of the other companies in the S&P 500 are down and in the red.

Let's pause for a minute and think of what is happening. The US no longer produces anything tangible, it's all "apps", 0s and 1s, on solid state drives. It's all artificial, and it will all evaporate soon enough.
>>
>>107050886
>The US no longer produces anything tangible
The US industrial sector is still larger than the next 4 countries combined

The 1 trillion is because they're looking to go public.
They only make like 100B in revenue currently but have expenses upwards of 500B.

It's all a sham.

LLMs are really inefficient stochastic parrots and running at a loss to try to coax investors into piling in more cash. The end goal is either hoping for a miracle breakthrough that makes them efficient enough to not run at a loss, or to just run off with the money they've skimmed off the top.

People here are either in denial or terrified by what Sam is creating.

Sam won.

I was kidding of course but this is how they think. These are the projections.

>OpenAI's expenses are substantial, with estimates indicating they spent around $5 billion on research and development compute in 2024 alone. The company is also projected to have a cash burn rate of $115 billion through 2029, driven by high operational costs and ambitious spending plans.

>OpenAI generates approximately $13 billion in annual revenue, primarily from subscriptions to its ChatGPT service, which has around 800 million users, with only 5% being paid subscribers.

It's not luck. It's finance crime.
They will use that IPO to empty out the retirement accounts of the average US joe. And then, they will "blow the bubble" and rugpull everyone.

Tech companies earn verry little actual money compared to their evaluation. They can only make money by scamming the users they gained earlier for short term.
Goverment printing bunch of money and giving it to big tech isnt earning money.

How are the AI companies ever going to be profitable, given that Nvidia's planned obsolescence and competition from other companies will force them to buy hundreds of thousands (or even millions) of the latest-and-greatest AI GPUs every 2-3 years?
>>
>>107048833
In order for that to happen the dollar would need to increase in value.
So it won't.

Before Obama passed the JOBS act, companies were forced to IPO much earlier.

Now retail is unable to invest in companies before they hit 1 TRILLION valuation.
>>
>>107065704
Nvidia will take part ownership (with an 'investment') and then a bigger share every time the lads need an upgrade. They hand their 'investment' back to Nvidia, who end up worth 10 trillion on paper but in reality are the global bagholders of the scam. Nvidia + the AI shamco execs sell some stock to the unwary public. Happy days for everyone, wandering around the AI powered landscape smelling the tulips.

Yeah, but timing is everything. Miss peak bubble and you screwed. OpenAI seems to be aiming to IPO late '26 or '27, while making up increasingly bizarre valuations of itself till then. And I'd humbly suggest, 2027 is a loooong time to be keeping this charade running. Can see them doing a WeWork and imploding before their bags land on retail

Just make an AI stock market and you can only buy shares with AI-generated dollars and leave the rest of the economy alone.
