Everything runs silky smooth
>>107051876I unironically like windows 11> Have outlook email> Sync my settings to browser > Edge uses manifest v2, get ublock origin fuck jewgle.> Oh noes Microsoft telling me about the Xbox app. It's an ad however will I survive ! Click notification dots, turn off notifications system wide. Problem solved> Like the start menu UX, reminds me of classic windows> Largely just works > Also sleep and resume work just fine for me out of the box because I do fresh installs and not let OEMs determine what shit to run.
>>107051907That's exactly the point though?
have fun with your toy OS for children lmao
to me it feels like a total downgrade from windows 10. i hate how everything looks. file explorer looks like shit. they made MS Paint way worse for no reason too.
>>107052086>to me it feels like a total downgrade from windows 10. i hate how everything looks. file explorer looks like shit. Only really the windows shell, file explorer is better only more buggier.>they made MS Paint way worse for no reason too.Disagree.

Eh, try managing it in a business environment. I still miss 7 for the stability and its lack of bullshit. 11 has brought us:>Lots of old computers that were otherwise functional in secondary roles have had to be scrapped and replaced so they're not a manual upgrade management nightmare>Random network instability after a number of sleep/wake cycles>September security updates broke an older but otherwise functional program we were using, forcing us to adopt the newer, ridiculously expensive subscription version>"Why the hell is the start menu in the middle??" Yes it's an easy fix, but annoying for users.>Further deprecation of Control Panel with the Settings "app" that sometimes just doesn't work>Start menu no longer shows a list of programs up front, you have to click the Apps button. The default view is ads for bullshit like LinkedIn and Spotify>Overall heavier on hardware usage despite nothing working better>Lots of prompts on first login and upon opening Edge to sign-in to MS services that we don't use.>"New Outlook" which tries to overtake our paid version of Outlook. Granted that started in 10They're all relatively minor issues, but when you're managing a lot of them they stand out. I do appreciate how the updates are now released as rollups, and some of the new Explorer features (tabs, ability to "copy as path") and the enhancements to Notepad are great.
>>107052181>Further deprecation of Control Panel with the Settings "app" that sometimes just doesn't workThis shit right here is all the reason I need to haaaaate 11. The settings app has so much wasted fucking space and is so painful to navigate.
Every time I turn my computer on, I feel this Indian musk spraying in my face.
