I use it on android because it has the ability to work full screen (hiding top/bottom bars, hiding even time/battery status bar). What is the use case on pc?

Can't wait for the state mandated bronzy buddy (or whatever their AI is called) extension you can't deactivate or remove.

AI Overview
Yes, the
Samsung Internet browser is based on the Chromium open-source project, just like Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. This means it shares the same core foundation and is a popular, fast, and reliable web browser for Android devices

That's cool and all but I don't care

I have browser bloat fatigue. Just use chromium if you need that. Otherwise go with Firefox.
>>
>>107052107
if its chromium based, then what is the point of switching
>>
>>107057335
The only use case is if you use Samsung Internet on your phone and want to sync it to desktop. That's it.

what's the best current go-to everyday browser?
firefox starting to behave like a turd, is chrome still a piece of shit?

Try Waterfox or Zen Browser
Both are based on Firefox

Chrome (and all other 'skins' including Brave, Arc, Dia, Samsung, Atlas, Comet, etc) are all shit.
>>
And here I thought the age of Chrome reskins was nearly over. All these companies are running out of ideas on how to steal user data even with AI. Pretty embarrassing.
>>
>>107052107
I might actually try this, I have an s25 and a tab S10. Probably won't be able to do anything Firefox and Firefox mobile can't, but it's worth trying out

idk wtf is wrong with all firefox browsers but they are just straight up broken for me right now I've tried fire and water just now on a random site and sometimes it takes entire minutes to load images
then i try basic bitch chrome and it insta loads it all
>>
>>107057463
settled on librewolf for pc and ironfox for phone
>>
>>107057764
Hmm, I have been using Fire and Water on multiple machines (Windows and Linux) for the last few years and haven't had any noticeable issues like that.

I looked in on the Desktop thread there now and that loaded instantly for me.

Wonder if it's an add-on
