Let's rank LLM for vibecoding, obviously Claude Code takes first place but what follows? ChatGPT 5? How about ChatGPT 5 Codex? Has anyone tried Qwen? Also I've heard Gemini is extremely bad
good morning sar
>>107061937useless thread.theyre all substandard.donethe technologoy is not suitable for that
Claude is retarded today. Fix it anthropic jannies
>>107061937>Has anyone tried Qwen?Yes, not for vibe coding, it's really good, I think it might be on par with chatGPT.
>>107061946>>107061950>>107061957How many Rs in Stawberry
>>107061986i vibecoded with itits the same shit everywhere.context fucking wall beyond ~300 locs or soif you do anything beyond the most basic, uninteresting slop it just failssometimes even doing generic shit yields retarded results<heres chud gpt almost getting me b& from fb's api on day 0its not hitting context limitits not something obscure, or rarely usedits 20 lines of fucking paiton.failed. MISERABLYthe limitations are inherent to the technologyanyone seriously considering vibecoding is either green as grass or is just fucking retarded because they cant correlate causes to effects
>>107062043>>107061950Skill issueI've vibecoded a perfectly functional project of 30k lines, with full test coverage. The people that shit on vibecoding simply don't understand how to use it, you're gonna get replaced at this rateFollow advice on pic related if you want to vibecode, you're welcome.
>>107062130I really think vibecoding is a meme. Because of the limitation of AI. I have had it generate alot of code chatgpt, mistral and other models and it seems they all like to solve issues in the most complex way rather then use a simple solutions which massive amounts of code that's not needed. You are creating something that is resource intensive for no good reason. AI has a hard time thinking outside of the box. Also out of date and deprecated ways are also something it likes to do.
>>107062130>post a screencap of a wall of textfunny how you vibecoders never post your vibecodealso what skill issue?i got my shit doneAND i didnt get b& from graph api despite the best efforts of my ai copilotpicrel is another chatbot failure
I don't understand "vibecoding". Programming is fun for me. Why would I let AI do it for me?
>>107062208I got my shit done in 2 days what would have taken you months basically. This is not even a discussion like I'm not gonna argue if vibecoding is or not a thing, you can go and build an entire software by yourself now if you follow the advice I gave you, you either accept that or not, that's on you
>>107062219>I don't understand "vibecoding". Programming is fun for me. Why would I let AI do it for me?That's not why we make technology. We make it solve everything and automate everything as possible so you have to do less.
>>107062269So I'm supposed to automate things I enjoy now?
>>107062225>I got my shit done in 2 days what would have taken you months basically. based on what you posted so far you never wrote a line of codevibecoded or otherwise
>>107062325>So I'm supposed to automate things I enjoy now?True
>>107062225>>107062341i use ai in my workflow btwi use it quite heavilyit does accelerate my throughputbut i use it as a search engine and correlation machinei use it where it works, i use it for whats written on the tin so to speakand i get great resultsbut vibecoding is fucktardedtheres no two ways about that.youre using a statistical engine to solve a deterministic problem.thats fucking retardedand its been solved by the industry btwwith something called model based designlook it up. it yields arbitrarily large 100% correct code, every time.
>>107062378>no coder pipes upmhm
>>107062392>n-no, ushudup marketingroid retard
>>107062325Programming is a tool, a means to an end, if you like it that's okay, most people strive for the product and features instead
>>107062405>By implementing these suggestions, you can make your C code more robust, maintainable, and easier to debug, all while retaining its high performance.
>>107062429yeah exactlyif you like to pretend youre a programmer who are we to stop youbut dont try to convince us playing pretend and outputting software that doesnt work is the future
>>107062467yeah welladding a conditional is never free.your chatbot is plain wrong.again, if you like to base your code on retarded assumptions and hallucinations, be my guestalso i guard against the null within the function itself to contain the spaghettimuch cleaner, much more maintainable
>>107062509>much cleaner, much more maintainableyeah, sure. point is it easily parsed your shit based on me taking a screenshot, kekso youre whining about how its incapable is just head in the sand faggotry and its especially ironic when you say shit like this>>107062487>but dont try to convince us playing pretend and outputting software that doesnt work is the future
>>107062520>so youre whining about how its incapable is just head in the sand faggotryfaggotry or not, im still much more capable than itand what i write is actually correct
>>107062545youre just an attention whore.anon gave good advice >>107062130 here which is on-topic, to which you shit on, with your off-topic histrionic bullshitthe average 'vibe coder' is not going to be intelligent enough to do those things, it doesnt mean the tool is bad simply because theyre bad.
also, i cant help but notice:>tranimeshitter>complete retard programming wise>advertizes a product thats dead on arrivaltranimeshitters should pass a competency test on top of having to solve the captcha
>>107061937The best LLM to code is the Human brain, sweaty.
>>107062580its not proof its just you being a whiny histrionic faggot though
>>107062593ofc its proofthe assumption is: "chatbots can be used to code"they cant.look up manuals? provide examples?yea sure why notvibecoding?my fucking sidesand then you get all angry and do personal attacks because you cant counter argumentif vibecoding is so simple, post a non trivial project you will code on the fly.i want a flappy bird clone. its a dead fucking simple program.you have 1 hour.go.
>>107062615>the assumption is: "chatbots can be used to code"i have vibe coded many things with them.continue being a histrionic faggot
>>107062130You'll do all that but learn to code

>>107062703>attention whore being histrionic faggot
>>107062708>personal attack because cant find argumentsi dont even know what histrionic means, but im fairly sure youre projectingyoure certainly doing that with the homofag part
This guy is having a meltdown over some AI taking his life time learning, I get it

Can't wait until we get nuclear back because ai corpos demand the power. Oh wait no one knows how to build nuclear power plants anymore. Oh no worries they'll ask chatgpt and vibecode the whole system, it'll be fine
>>107062130>become "vibecoder">one day all ai companies jack up their prices>you can no longer afford them>you are no longer a vibecoder>you are not even a coder>you just "vibe" as you suck dicks to make rent
>>107062893>not training your own local llm with free code for that eventuality ngmi
>>107062858hey chatgpt, build this power plant
>>107063042they will unironically do this
GPT5-mini is very underrated for vibe coding. PROTIP: Give GPT5-mini a highly detailed abstract of what it is you want to create and then ask for a no-code, top-level implementation plan to achieve your goal that's broken down into separate phases and sub-phases. Then ask it to create an implementation plan for the first step of the first sub-phase of the first phase. Usually, you don't have to go any deeper than that in the recursion chain. From there, just execute every step until your program is finished. If you actually know how to code, it's like have a project manager who actually knows what he's doing. It'll even give estimated time-frames for completion of each phase based on manpower and assumed skill and competence.

From there, just execute every step until your program is finished. This already is a skill unto itself, knowing how to structure and plan a program. Most are incapable of this so AI tend to be useless for coding because they can't direct it towards the goals required.
>>107065018biggest thing is just having the patience to iterate through additions one at a time.if you give it a huge list it will do the bare minimum of it.if you split 10 tasks into 10 different prompts.it will put much more effort and energy into solving each individual task, obviously.
>>107061937kill yourself
>>107065179>biggest thing is just having the patience to iterate through additions one at a time.>if you give it a huge list it will do the bare minimum of it.>if you split 10 tasks into 10 different prompts.>it will put much more effort and energy into solving each individual task, obviously.Pretty much, you have to tell it not to start coding while you feed it information. I've created relatively complex applications without writing a single bit of code just to prove it was possible. The only problem is that this is all done using ChatGPT or Claude.ai and not locally hosted LLM. I'm eager to try doing locally hosted but at the moment I just want to round off any rough edges of the few programs I'm "developing" and then move on to something new.
>>107062763nobody actually makes anything with those though
>>107061937>Ranking indians for jeetcodingErm, you gonna rate their poo next?
>>107062130Only jeets think LOC means anything.
>>107062130What was the project?
>>107066407it definitely matters. not necessarily to define complexity of the project itself, but to point out the strengths of the LLM system being able to contextualize everything and make far-reaching changes that affect multiple things, etc
>>107065018>>107065179>>107066328If you're hand holding it this much, isn't it faster to just write it yourself tho? you can use the llm as a search engine and make it provide useful information and code snippets, which you then use while writing the code. I find this approach to be faster than what pretty much boils down to programming in natural language.
