>>107067188Sadly, the only two DEs that are somewhat bearable on linux are gnome and kde.I was installing it in both an hdr capable laptop and desktop, so I'm forced into wayland and these two DEs.
>>107067031>>107067188These people go out of their way installing massive amounts of extensions and become very dependent on them so hard they are cucked without it and go out of their way to shit on kde and say it has too many options. Conclusion! You cannot have enough option.
>>107067241I literally use 4 extensions total, Caffeine, Blur my shell, gsconnect and kstatus notifier, I literally didn't even notice three of those were not enabled until two days after starting installing it.
>>107067019are you using snapdragon x?
Installed it either yesterday or the day before. There's really nothing different that I noticed except now the GRUB kernel menu pops up every boot, which is actually something I wanted to enable anyway.
>>107068268it popped for me every time on fedora 42, it didnt for you?
>>107066168Yes upgrade went well, but the default python version is now 3.14, I didn't notice that and when I started building shit, I always got errors... at least you can create venvs with specific pythong versions tho.

How do I update from 42? Is running dnf update sufficient?
>>107066168Of course not, I use Arch Linux, not that subpar distro.
>>107068673Nothing wrong with this as long as installed packages don't have conflicting dependencies. pip is not apt-get, it won't detect conflicts with already installed packages' requirements.
