I feel like Im much more productive
>>
how exactly are you more productive? be specific. im changing to pop OS tomorrow
>>
reinstalling your browser for the third time because a dependency in your linux install broke again is not productive.

Centralized software manager, auto window tiling, no forced updates disrupting my flow, and everything is just faster and snappier. Literally every aspect is better than Windows was for me.

sounds like horseshit but whatever makes you happy I suppose.
>>
Who gives a shit about your workflow. If you're working with 1-2 programs it isn't realistically gonna make a difference, and the update shit can be delayed.
>>
>>107070991
Because Windows shell is a fucking trash and every workflow that wasn't originated in Windows 95 is an absolute shit? After moving to Linux I've noticed that I didn't use 80% of Windows features since most of them are broken trash and Microsoft loves to deprecate features in new releases.
>>
>>107071227
literally all of that has nothing to do with productivity except maybe tiling

>more productive
productive for what? what are you producing with linux?
>>
>>107070991
For m it's conditioning. While I was still a student I strictly separated all my study related stuff on Linux while having my games on Windows. By extension I also always booted into Windows o waste my time on YouTube and 4chan most of the time.
It's the same concept as having your work and leisure areas physically separated, except when you're living in a one room apartment

You shitting me? The amount of times I get popups telling me I need to restart my MS Office shit due to an update is maddening.
