linuxtards cant remove THIS
>>

>OEM product has OEM branding
...yes, and?
>>
on linux this can, and often is, the most useful key for shortcuts. on windows it opens the start panel, that most people prefer to click on anyway.
imagine not knowing how to use your own dedicated key
>>
>>107071181
Why would I want to remove this? It is literally one of the most useful buttons on Linux. Which is kind of ironic, because on Windows it is the most annoying button.
>>
apologies i am not insecure about my keyboard keys
>>
>>107071181
Lintroons still insist on calling it the "Super" key even though the real name of the key is the windows key, lol
Hardcore lintroons even replace their keycaps with custom ones that say super because no one other than Apple makes keyboards without a Windows key
>>
The super key is super, why would you want to remove it?

when I got my laptop from LaptopWithLinux I ordered it with a little glyph of my waifu instead. drew her in krita first then traced that in inkscape
so it's the kagari key (or if you want to be funny the key key) and not the windows key

The irony is that you're seeing Linux at its best: its primary use case is "Reddit terminal", and it's very much tailored to that workload.

Then i ran memtest86 and found out my RAM memory stick is broken. Now it works after replacing. Try that.

the super key? or the logo?
if you're particularly enraged by a logo, you can pop that chicklet key off, sand it down and spraypaint it
but the superkey, function, CTRL and ALT are part of all systems regardless of the logos/symbols
>>
I'm using the mac symbol on it, don't even remember what it is.
>>
>>107072442
yeah it happens with linux and its silly how people try to defend the most basic of OS functions (updates) as some sort of skill issue >>107073506
during your linux install, setup a different disk partition for your /home directory and use another partition for your OS
when you need to reinstall, or have multiple versions of linux installed, just point it to the correct partitions during install
you'll still have all your files .bashrc .zshrc etc and a freshly installed OS
if you're still having problems with a particular program its likely something from your ~/.config or ~/.cache or ~/.mozilla folders and you can just rename the correct sub folder to rebuild those config files
depends on the browser

It's an extra combo key that I use A LOT on my xfce setup

I don't care that the icon on the button is the windows logo
>I am not that much of an autist so that it bothers me

Some of my favorite shortcuts
// The win key is called SUPER in Linux
SUPER + Z // Minimize Current Active Window
SUPER + R // Quick Launch (xfce)
SUPER + A // Open ROFI (another custom launcher program)
SUPER + S // Custom program, FSearch, to search for local files
SUPER + D // Show Desktop - Press again to restore windows where they were
SUPER + E // Open Thunar (file manager)
SUPER + TAB // Change Workspace
SUPER + ~ // Open/Close a persistent terminal window
SUPER + Click Drag // Drag a window (fucking love this one)
SUPER + R-Click Drag // Resize a window (and this one)

so OP is just an uneducated fool

I'm tired of having a full keyboard and I'm probably going to buy this one. I was worried about losing functionality namely the navigation keys but this keyboard has combos for them using FN + the arrow keys. I guess I would lose the insert key? I don't think I've ever used it, what is it for anyways?

How come? Logitech is the only peripheral brand I trust right now, the keyboard I have right now is about the same one as picrel and I've never had an issue with it. The only one being is that I'm tired of the loud clicky key gimmick so I just want a purely functional keyboard now.
>>
>>107075463
