ChatGPT made this for me in under 30 seconds
I can add spider facts, copy one to clipboard, change theme between light and dark and export all facts as a JSON file
It's a bit buggy in places but otherwise works absolutely fine
If I didn't use ChatGPT this would take me a day to make. But, like I said, it has taken fewer than 30 seconds for AI to do it.

So are people still being pushed into learning how to code or has that stopped now?

If you knew how to program, making a simple CRUD app should take an hour. I haven't write a program in 3 years, and could probably do it in under 8 hours.

>just learn to code to make a simple program like this
if thats all then i dont think its worth the investment
>>

Sure, if you like bugs and having frustrated customers. Don't be a parasite.

if you want to sell programs or work seriously in program then obviously learn to code. i'm just saying there's a difference between people who have interests and work in stuff outside of computers and people who work in it/programming. the time investment is not worth it for the former if all you want to make is a program like this every other year or whatever

>bugs and having frustrated customers
oh no, the only customer (me) will sue me

Most of programming is not making new things, but extending existing, huge, monolith applications.

And now it will still take you a day to understand the code and fix all the bugs.
>>

Yeah. Stop learning to code. Thanks
>>
>>107071677
>a day to understand the code
Lmao is this what webshit crud monkeys think?
>>
>>107071686
i actually dont understand them. ive been a "crud webshit dev" my whole life and i love it, i still use the llm to pump shit out.
theyre fucking kidding themselves. i'm convinced it's all LARP
he does have a point about like becoming unable to work complex systems over time as you lose your ability and knowledge etc etc
but its fucking crud webshit

You got to remember, they're locked into the billable hours mindset. It's partly why they're being replaced by inferior Indians and/or AI. Drag simple shit out, so you can charge more. Also, add in some exploits for job security.

The ability for AI to lego block things is pretty good, yes.

arachnid fingers typed these posts

ok but ChatGPT can make this in 30 seconds and all I need is another 30 seconds to iron out minor bugs
