>>107083644i don't think it's really related to being private or public. some universities just have a better CS curriculum. at my undergrad we didn't even study compilers or automata theory, we just took a shitty "programming languages" course that was a very stripped down programming languages theory course. it was a private schoolincidentally, what people study in CS is very different from what actual software engineering is like, so if your goal is to become a software engineer then honestly it doesn't really matter where you get your degree

There isn't much variation usually for a bachelors degree and the specializations usually start at the masters level. Tho it's just easier to look at the curriculum than taking advice from tards on the internet if you don't wanna mention your country
