I tuned my preset, my chardef... nothing would work. then for legit the first time in 3 months I played around w temp and top p again. After quite some time of testing, I can now say that having temperature at 1 was the cause of many isms that I had been seeing. idk why but i had been brainwashed to always use temps around 0.9-1 with opus, but now im using temp 0.75 and top p 0.90 and honestly.... it feels so much better... Like, it's still Kino, but replies just.... make more sense and I feel like are less sloppier. Just wanted to share this. I also got nice results using a temperature of 0.85 with top p of 0.95. IMO Qwen gives me better responses than KimiK2 905, but K2 has sovl as well. Mistral Large is good if you want to mix things up; it's dumb but has good unpredictability to unstick repetition.
