>>107086576java is probably not that bad for game dev nowadays.the jit has always been good enough to get you reasonable performance (if you know what you're doing).and with the new native method handles it should be super easy to load and call vulkan functions for example.only thing where java is lacking is value types. can't just have an array of structs without indirection unfortunately, so that'll limit perf.
