Was it added recently? Obviously no picture attachment for the video generator, one can only wonder whether it's intentional. The (autistic) advantage is that it's completely lossless (and one could losslessly crop the single images back, as well, using jpegtran).An alternative I remembered now is Irfanview: File>Thumbnails>File>Create contact sheet from selected files. I'd remove the file info thing and calculate output resolution considering the input files and, if using them, margins. It should keep selected the last used settings, too (so if you settle on a certain layout and number of pictures, you won't have to calculate horizontal/vertical resolution every time).
