Homebrew doesn't have binaries for the old versions of Mac OS or OSX that run on that thing, so you'll have to compile a lot of shit and that'll really turn up your CPU and get hot lol. Also will take fucking forever. Last time I tried I left it running for 48 hours and didn't even finish so I just abandoned upgrading everything.
To be fair it was compiling shit like GCC.

Sonoma and Sequoia, which are currently supported, run fine with OpenCore Patcher, it just don't support the latest Metal, but you're not going to play newer games anyways.
