I just ran out of Claude usage 4 days before it resets, and I feel like a drug addict who ran out before his doctor could fill his oxycodone prescription again. Is it over for me?

Notch says you didn't code the game if you didn't make the engine from scratch yourself. He would be disappointed in you and anon.

but his game runs in java tho
>>
>>107098342
Notch is a fucking retard and the only popular game he's ever made runs like shit even after billions of dollars were poured into fixing his fuckups

Do people really prefer managing a shitty junior dev than to do it themselves?

if you feel like a drug addict because you were using it for programming and you can't deal with your codebase without it, then yes it's a MASSIVE problem. Especially if you're trying to get better at programming or are trying to make something high quality.

Why would you even try to get better in that field? You still won't get hired.

Try facing the real world boomer, no one cares about quality anywhere

it depends on the junior dev. When they just keep fucking it up (which the AI will do sometimes when you don't absolutely hold its hand and give a super detailed project description like it's retarded), then the junior dev is more trouble than they're worth. I think what it comes down to is that vibe coding is unironically a skill the same as managing a team is a skill. As someone who hates pair/group programming and prefers to just do it right themselves, learning to properly utilize AI has definitely been a hurdle. But it's been worthwhile when it works (hours and days and thousands of lines of coding done in an instant).

Use GitHub Copilot

For $10 you have access to Claude 4.5 and other LLMs

anon I didn't knew it's possible;
I did knew that there can be a human review process, but like what did you do?

Loading Screen Tip:

If you want your LLM to always have context of your entire project, you're better off making the AI write documentation in .md (Markdown) NOT HTML (Really important, don't use HTML).

Separate your entire doc files like this
>02_database_schema.md
>03_api_endpoints_part1.md
>04_api_endpoints_part2.md

Then create an extra md calld 01_index.md where you explain and reference the rest of the of the files so the LLM can load this one first and then know which one to load later for context depending on what it needs to be done in your code, this way it will have full context compared as if it was an entire document. For my 25K line project my entire documentation this way is 107KB.

It's a shittier version I think but it's still very good
I use it when I don't want to run the full Claude 4.5 directly
>>
I don't know how you guys use this shit, in a project with like 10 files of shader code the AI already can barely manage to make anything out of it without going retarded
>>
>>107106325
DON'T PAY THEM YOU IDIOT.

If AI becomes profitable the bubble will keep going. They will fire us all if you pay for AI. And before you know it the billionaires are sending israeli attack clankers at you as you crouch in a ditch dressed in rags. Your only buddy is your commissar officer who hands you an EMP gun. Extinction inevitable.

Pay for tokens. Switch to deepseek. $5 lasts me 7 months compared to $20 claude slop.

>>
>>107104173
Seems interesting. Do you have an example of the prompt you use for this?
>>
>>107109310
Money aside, is deepseek actually on par with Claude in your experience? IMO Claude mogs everything else I've tried
>>
>>107109735
i use critical thinking with my AI use not as a crutch. its mainly a search engine for me. so for the bargain price compared to all the other slop you have to pay for it works for me. i would NEVER pay $20-$100's of dollars for AI a month. there is diminishing returns with what it can do. i cant put money aside, its the driving factor. claude is not worth paying for.
deepseek for power user use not getting cuttoff.
claude free limit for w.e else.
>>
>>107109735
in 5 months i spent $100 on claude and hit limits.
in 7 months i spent $5 on deepseek and did not notice drastically different results for my usecase. (code assist)
>>
>>107094454
