XFCE4 but it's somewhat weird, when I move a window usually it's smooth as it should be but from time to time it seems to snap to my mouse cursor and the first few frames are stuttery.This is one of the issues I'm having and this is out of the box Fedora 43 installation so I haven't even touched anything. Yes I do have proper gpu drivers.There is always some weird annoyances with Linux no matter what you're using.

xfeces has been slowly going the way of nu-gnome with its design choices. Inconsistent menus and UI, inconsistent icons (like tray icons being symbolic instead of using your icon theme), I even noticed recently that Thunar has rounded borders on icon highlight, which looks horrible.

I like XFCE. I am currently using KDE because it has more features, more development effort behind it, functional wayland. To be honest, I can't really go without some features on a modern desktop, which I don't know if I could get on XFCE or not because I don't have the time or patience to tinker. But I really like the idea of a fast simple no bloat desktop like XFCE. If KDE goes off the rails like Gnome did, and maybe even if they don't, I might switch some day.
