Every privacyslop JewTuber is still shilling for Crapdroid products. Lol. Lmao even. Even when the only Android ROM that doesn't come with the blobbed drivers is ReplicantOS and even then it suffers from security vulnerabilities, is ported for proprietary hardware, and is only safe behind a VM. Gentoo/Guix + Wayland for the mobile UI (Phosh/Sway/Plasma Mobile) is all you literally need. I never understood the appeal to Android either. It lacks desktop app compatibility and is thus only suited for smaller tasks (namely social media brainrot), instead relying on sandboxed (((app store))) bs. It's anti-user. But then again anything that comes out of Shitgle is guaranteed rubbish. As for the hardware, use a BeagleV Ahead RISC-V SBC w/ mainlinebLinux support, an open source USB-based HID-compliant resistive touchscreen (like XPT2046), some thin copper heatsinks soldered to the SBC to prevent overclocking, an Atheros open source 802.11 Wifi PCIe snapped to the board (ath9k), some added USB and HDMI ports soldered to the boards, an old Vizio dumb HDTV to connect your LibrePi device to (smart TVs aren't safe to use), maybe some added hardware killswitches so it doesn't display the screen on the TV's proprietary hardware and feed your screen info to the NSA, an Adafruit Powerboost 1000C charger w/ LiPo battery to keep it in while it's plugged into the TV, use open wifi + VoIP softphone apps (like Jami or GNUNet's CADET) to avoid cellular infrastructure, add a mini usb keyboard (like Corne v4.1) and USB headset (Beyerdynamic DT-770 + RP2040 + WM8960) and that's basically it.
