Why is google recommending Wikipedia and Reddit as a trusted source?

Why is that?
>>

idk man grok does it, too.

Dead internet. Sources of information are being shut down
>>
Does anyone still unironically use Google?

they control the information flow anon.

Why did you think it was ever about "trusted"? The most profitable Google results page is not the one that's provides the most useful information, but one that provides *seemingly* useful information. Your brain can't tell those apart (by definition), and it's much cheaper, more efficient, and easier to generate results based on the relaxed "seeming" conditions. At that point, you need *abundant* sources rather than trusted ones (this builds familiarity), which Wikipedia and Reddit are.

they control public opinion anon.

>google provides AI answer to something
>it is almost always completely wrong, like laughably incorrect
>sources cited: instagram.com, carnival.com, youtube.com
The sources seem almost completely random sometimes. I can't fathom why Instagram and corporate websites are considered valid sources for literally anything.

Because Wikipedia has sources for shit if you don't trust the text and Reddit has people posting things. Did you really want an answer though

Those two are more trustworthy than 99% of the sites google will otherwise recommend you

they probably pay google money

When the government tells you to trust something -> that means they know there's something wrong with it

When the government doesn't tell you either way -> that means there's something really wrong with it

When the government tells you not to do something -> that means they want to use reverse psychology to fuck you over
>>
No conspiracy, they just gave up on their search engine. It's easier to pin """trusted""" resourced to the top and forget about it. They don't even bother indexing new sites most of the time.

What would you consider to be trusted sources?

thats the whole point of pagerank so its no wonder google makes the same mea culpa with pagerank 2.0
