Windows is becoming so bad the Loonixtard nightmare is becoming reality. Linux desktop is now making up more than 5% of the marketshare and still growing. It's not your personal toy anymore. People are actually using Linux. Which means Linux has to be useable, and useful. The Loonix community lost.

I have nothing against new users, as long as they accept that Linux is a different beast than Windows (Unix-style: everything is a file) and if they are willing to understand what it stands for. They don't have to agree, but it's important that they understand. Linux is the main representative of free (as in freedom, not free beer) and open software and those principles are what makes up the soul of Linux. It would be a shame if those principles were never shown to new users.
