Users report batteries draining twice as fast, longer charging times, lagging and freezing UI, disappearing app icons, and a noticeable drop in performance. You have been warned.
Man.I remember back in the day when things like phones just worked. Even the smart ones.

>>107101044This is exactly why I won't update anything anymore because these slop updates spike my heart rate and I have CHD
Imagine your competition Android, a technological piece of shit, and coming off second in terms of stability and code quality.

I am so glad I don’t make phones and tablets the center of my world. I intentionally dumb them down and use fewer features so slop updates like this won’t make a difference. my ipad mini? deleted all apps and disabled all icloud functionality and use it to only play free to play gaacha games (no money for apple, i use the developer top up sites if i wanna throw away money). my iPhone? A hand me down phone (that means I don’t give the megaoligarchs money) where I disable all icloud functionality and use it for textin, calling, and the needful web browsing with local keepass. need to switch to android if they really fuck up? No problem no problem at all it’ll only be just a minute, it’s so easy for me to not get trapped into the ecosystem meme (monopolistic practice btw)>>107101248

>>107101067sir,,, doing the testings in environemnts called as TEST too expensive for shareholder sirs launchings of update prepone to PROD with the same

I feel like I'm living in the matrix man I haven't had a single one of the popular reported iOS 26 bugs it's working perfectly and smooth especially compared to iOS 18 which was close to the worst iOS ever. Would be nice if more users would report which phone they were using, I think it's most likely Apple is getting sloppy about supporting the older hardware. Very bad move since that's always been the justification for their inflated prices.
>>107102542I’m on iphone 13 and I have no issues, apart from my homescreen background cutting off immediately after updating to 26.1 and having to reapply the wallpaper again. I’ve been on my phone all morning and I don’t really notice a difference with battery.
>>107102542It's could be possible that something gets fucked up when you update through betas instead of stable to stable.I have a bug I haven't seen reported yet where some of the icons in the app store are squares instead of squircles randomly.
I'm already on 26.0.1 so how much worse could it be
