Every site designed to host images more permanently for forum posts and the like inevitably goes to shit. Imgur is just going the way of Photbucket and Imageshack. It's part of the life cycle. It'll happen to Catbox, too, and then whatever takes its place in turn.

i use it to host images that i share to my friends like one time.glad they have some weird ass community to look at the ads and keep the servers up for me though.
