I have been trying to get 4000+ photos off an iPhone onto a PC for the past hour.>can't do it through Windows Explorer, device shows up as empty>refuse to download the iTunes spyware>have to install the Windows Photos app from the Appstore>after plugging and unplugging the device a couple times, it finally appears in Windows Photos>takes 15 minutes for the images to load in the App, thank you USB 2.0>start importing them, seems like this is going to take 30 minutes (thanks USB 2.0)>after about a thousand pictures, unlock the phone again to check something>import stops, throws up an error>have to unplug and plug it in again>another 15 minutes to load the pictures again>another 30 minutes to import the 3000 remaining pictures, assuming all goes well this timeThis is legit going to take me the entire evening.Fuck the cloud.Fuck Apple.Fuck iOS.Fuck USB 2.0
my windows gaming laptop sucks too though. it doesn't matter what I play it just stutters it was like $2k. it's over.
