I spent 300€ on a pair plus DAC. I already had a bunch of them however and although I love the new ones it's more of a symptom of an underlying issue, as new gadgets and objects keep pilling up at home. I don't really need them. No one needs expensive headphones unless you need them for work. You can buy a cheap pair that will sound almost as good as Hi-Fi gear.
