Heres an idea ive had for years: a limbless "green screen" sex doll you can overlay any character you want to in a VR game, so it would world like any character customization and just get displayed on top of the doll with specific detection points. They could then add facial expressions and simulated limbs via software.
nah there won't be any valuable ideas because low hanging fruits are all done, and that's why tech is stagnating now

As in, the OS itself is a cute girl, with built-in speech synthesizer that vocalizes system messages in a cute way (i.e. "You do not have permission to access that folder" is instead vocalized as "M-Master, please don't touch that folder, it's private!"). In the corner of the screen, you can also see a small window showing a visual representation of your OS's "mood" via cute facial expressions (dictated by general system performance, any direct interaction with the OS using the chat box in this window, and a dash of total randomness).I call it NekoOS since I initially envisioned this to have the personality of a catgirl, but anything works.

Should I even bother starting up an IT consultancy? I told myself I would if I didn't find a job by the time my unemployment runs out but I feel like even here in the Midwest there are enough people doing the same thing that I'll just end up spinning my wheels with no hope of actually succeeding.

I've seen loads of freelancers, start-ups and bigger companies alike try and get clients with cold emails, but 9 times out of 10 those go straight to the fucking spam filter or the trash. I figure it'd be fairly easy to differentiate myself just by going in and presenting my case in person, having a conversation without sounding like a fucking door-to-door salesman asshole. Let them know I'm a person, not a product.

THATS CRAZY EFFORT! yeah it is a lot of work, but you're your own boss so the labor feels differently. and, thats pretty much the best thing you could ever do for a potential client because it shows you legitimately sweat for them, you talk the talk.
