it has usecase but you should be able to turn it off entirely.

Since this thread exists, are there other methods for a page to detect a visibility API? I remember using Bing one or two years ago, and I noticed it had this annoying thing: if you asked a question, and switched tabs, it stopped generating, and it only went back if you focused on the tab. I tried applying visibility API scripts, but it didn't work
