So I own a MacBook, and I was trying to use arrow keys to go through the images on it. You can't do this unless you left click and drag the box over all the pictures to open them up in an album. They aren't just naturally in an album even though they are already in a folder....so I have to perform extra steps....just because okay?! And there is so much more shit like this.

This shit is literally driving me insane and I want to take a hammer to this thing. I am done with Macs forever fuck these pieces of shit.

Being filtered in this way is a sign you are extremely low IQ

same for many other things, i have seen install instructions that are twice as long for mac, and doesn't surprise me

iToys are for tikok normies, not even for kids since you don't want kids to not know what a folder and a file are, or that you can download an mp3 and listen to it without paying shekels to apple through the appstore

If they designed the OS to appease every inane requirement from low IQ users such as yourself, it would be unusable. I’m glad they don’t do that. Go back to windows. Enjoy your pop-up ads.

>>107123198
the um...pop-up ads are on Mac lil bro....they want you to buy an adblocker on Mac.....lol

ublock is free

>>107123386
only in the sanctioned Apple Store, because of course you can't modify safari without their permission! can't have that!
>>
>>107123413
no one forces you to use safari

im on a Mac why wouldn't i

This is the intelligence of the average apple seether
>>
>>107123421
all ios users are forced to use safari
other ios browsers like chrome are just reskins of safari because apple says so
the EU was going to change this dunno if they did
>>
>>107122834
If you own one for whatever reason, just put another OS on it. I retired a 2019 macbook from work and I was surprised I got to keep it. I put Omarchy on it and it's bretty good. Would have put a BSD on it, but the T2 chip on it is preventing a lot of OSes from being installed. I'm not a fan of Apple, but the screen is very nice.
>>
>>107123971
They did but Apple made some insane requirements for non-webkit browsers on iOS. You can have ublock-origin lite now on safari though. Also Edge browser supports it (without the need to download an extra app like with safari). Also I believe Orion browser supports the full ublock-origin?
>>
>>107122834
You can use other image viewing software. Mac fags usually just look at pictures with the spacebar and up&down arrows.

they did, but you can only testrun it in the EU
and no company wants to take up the financial burden of developing a fringe browser for a single device and users in failing states

Imagine telling them how to fix their own problem. Anti-competitive retard alert.

We call them iTurdlers here.
>>
>>107123276
>The first iTurdler there:
"Why are you trying to open thousands of files per second?"
What? Irrelevant.
"If every sensible operation that touches open() does at least 1000 syscalls worth of work on the files it opens, then it scales to 1000 simultaneous file openings in parallel, forever"
Literally doesn't even make sense.

You used to be able to uninstall Safari by dragging it to the trash.
Then they blocked that.
So you had to use sudo rm to uninstall it.
Then they blocked that.
This applies to multiple of their worthless apps.
Fuck them.

>>107126516
You need to disable SIP first now.

Do you even read what you type?
You think any OS devs care about building for the M1/2/3 CPU?
>>
>>107126562
Removing Safari never broke Mac OS X.
I removed a lot of stock apps because I never used them and they weren't that good. Nothing else in the system should rely in them.

Nothing personal:
https://www.privateinternetaccess.com/blog/remove-safari/
>Safari Web Share API, enabled websites to steal local files from a user’s device
>Google has been caught regularly bypassing Safari’s privacy settings to track users, a vulnerability that any website can exploit
Nice.
>It’s impossible to completely remove Safari from the iPhone/iPad
>However, you can hide the Safari app
Wow! So generous with a device I personally own! Feed me more rotten apples!
