Japanese robots are quite good, but they don't do the LOOK AT THIS LOOK AT THIS IT'S THE END OF THE WEST marketing. Humanoid robots look great on stage and maybe for investors, but for actual helpfulness there's a lot to go. Meanwhile Japanese are working on robots that aid in movement or do hospice care and stuff like that. You know, useful things.
