so what is your take on the future of cloud generation?services like sora etc generate pretty high quality videos but are extremely unprofitable, to make a profit they would have to charge people like $5 per video and almost nobody is willing to pay that much. So they are burning through billions and can't sustain this pace forever.Do you think cloud video gen will collapse in the coming years and will be mostly moved back to less capable but cheaper local model generations which we run on our own GPUs?

How good is StabilityMatrix compared to Forge/reForge? I haven't played with image generation for a while and mostly used comfy and forge back then.Also, what is a good base model to start getting back into thing? It seems like people are mostly using Illustrious, NoobAI and some is using Pony on civit.
>>107134362I don't think I've seen anyone mention that they're using SM in this thread. It's still mostly comfy and a forge variant. Comfy is still the leader for getting support for newer models since they have a pretty big team now. However, that does mean stuff can break quite frequently so don't git pull unless you really need a new feature or something needs fixing.
