I honestly can't believe that there are people who don't use RSS. It's seems like such a basic thing to have.

I've tried multiple times to set up youtube in newsboat but will openly admit to being too retarded to get it to work. I use ytfzf and mpv and just have a dialog script for each channel. If anyone could point me to how to do it with newsboat it would be appreciated. - even a snippet of the config

I use RSS to follow Youtube channels and to be notified of new manga and anime releases on certain pirate sites when they come out.
It's just a tool.

don't read RSS feeds directly, just send the interesting stuff to more comfortable reading app like wallabag
