I'd rather not register my shit with Microsoft, though as far as I understand, HWID is pretty much considered legit by MS and everyone else, so it is indeed very useful. There is also a finite amount of times you can replace your hardware parts and reactive with HWID.But once MS closes HWID, you will be left with other methods. I personally use KMS because that's what I always used, and I know it will keep working.
