Forget the fox and the wolf use Brave the single best private browser. Come home white man
Google Chrome is the better
I curse Vishnu, do you curse Vishnu?
>>107233418I don't.
>>107233413I will always use the fox, though the lion travels beside me.
SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR
I will always fuck with fox lions are evil
>>107233413Firefox mogs this shit.
>boasts about respecting privacy>has a built-in fingerprinter for advertising purposes
>>107233413>Come home white man to India
OP here, forgot to mention i'm Indian.
>>107233463This is ok
Firefox is good, but you have to properly set it up first. There are sites that won't let you in with Firefox because "unsupported browser" - for this situation I use Unchromed Googlium.
>>107233418i curse jeebus
I've noticed the Opera bots started using the same marketing strategy as the Bravejeets, which is just shitting on Firefox with nonsense. A browser with like 5% marketshare (still orders of magnitude higher than their chromium skins.)It's baffling.
>>107233413>Brave the single best private browserhttps://browserleaks.com/client-hintswhy does it leaks your data as fuck?stupid mongolbrave://media-engagement/brave://device-log/enjoybrave://chrome-urls/
For some reason on my Linux machine, scrolling on FireFox or LibreWolf is not as smooth as scrolling literally anywhere else, so I just use Brave. Anyone else have this problem?
>>107238859any additional info? distro, kernel, browser version?I'm using FF-based browsers (mullvad and tor browser) and brave. No difference.Nobara (Fedora), latest version of all, KDE \ KWin (Wayland).
Trans people are seething about Brave for some reason. I wonder why. kek
>>107233416This anon gets it. You drive German cars on the Autobahn.I use Google Chrome for everything other than 4channel. I use Palemoon for shitposting.
>>107233413dont ruin this for me praveen
>>107239185I’m using Linux Mint 22.2 kernel 6.14.0-35 (iirc) idk the browser version, its just the default Firefox install (which I rarely use) and a fresh install of LibreWolf. Its not laggy, just the scrolling behavior seems “blocky” compared to the smooth scrolling I get literally anywhere else on my desktop
>>107239303>kernel 6.14.0-35 (iirc)>idk the browser versionIt would take less than 10 seconds to verify both of those things.
>>107233413Honestly there's nothing wrong with Google Chrome. I use it all the time
>>107239303Do you have Smooth Scrolling disabled?
>>107239354Anon, I was shitting, I just pulled up a fastfetch screenshot but I’ll check in a bit >>107239398it’s enabled
>>107239415Disable it and or hardware acceleration.
>>107239438ok i disabled it, its still not smooth. >>107239354I'm using that kernelfirefox version 145.0librewolf version 144.0.2-1
>>107233413GOOD MORNING SAARPLS DO THE NEEDFUL AND REDEEM THE CRYPTO BROWSER SAAR
Been there done that. Good for crapple devices. I can live with firefox on android and linux.
>>107233413But I like the wolf. And brave feels bloated to me.
holy fucking based opera chads destroying trannieshttps://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1oy0ps9/just_take_a_look_at_this/https://old.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1oypqri/another_one_from_opera_lol/
>>107233413Using Firefox since 2011 never had a single issue, zero point in swapping, also the new FF mascot is cute, the Brave logo looks like it was designed by an Indian.
>>107233413the lion is the same pozzed piece of ass as chrome dudei know from experience, the fox (the less pozzed one) is far bettercant wait to see ladybird personally
>pls use my BraveAI>pls use my BraveCrypto>pls use my BraveWallet>pls click on my BraveAdsI don't like begware
>use brave for years >no pop ups, ads blocked >October 2025>pop ups hidden in my streams >i am seeing 4chan ads for the first time in half a decade Is it over?
>>107233523firefags dont know real power
>>107241352oh newsflash... firefox is really fucking slow compared to the chromium based browsers now. it's been like that for half a decade at leastit's not 2011
Why is Brave being advertised every time I come to /g/?
>>107233413Chromoid chud browser.
>>107241516Works as good as Chrome does on my PC, so idk what to tell you, yes it had it's ups and downs but it was never so bad that it made me switch as others were worse imo.
>>107233413brave search had good ai until the most recent update, and now it's unusably shitty
>>107233413is the brave package in the arch/cachyos repo legit?

I use it with these policies:{ "BraveRewardsDisabled": true, "BraveWalletDisabled": true, "BraveTalkDisabled": true, "BraveVPNDisabled": true, "TorDisabled": true, "BraveAIChatEnabled": false, "BraveP3AEnabled": false, "BraveStatsPingEnabled": false, "BraveWebDiscoveryEnabled": false, "BraveSpeedreaderEnabled": false, "DnsOverHttpsMode": "secure", "DnsOverHttpsTemplates": "https://base.dns.mullvad.net/dns-query https://dns.quad9.net/dns-query"}Can't get comfier than that. They also offer the manifest v2 version of ublock origin, so if you don't like the built in adblocker you can disable it and install ublock
