my mom still uses one of those big wheeled vacuums which is annoying because whenever it's vacuum day for my room, i have to stand out of the way for her to vacuum under my table. plus it is really loud. i think a small vacuum would be good to have since i can conveniently clean my room without having to store a big vacuum somewhere. are small handheld vacuums any good or will they break pretty quickly?
You have to be over 18 to post here.
>>107239690>because whenever it's vacuum day for my room, i have to stand out of the way for her to vacuum under my table
>I'm suffering with my mommy cleaning my room.Kill yourself.
>>107239690Anon, you're big enough to clean your own room, let your mum have some rest.Small handheld vacuums are good to clean up crumbs and other minor messes, they're not designed to clean your entire room and they're not particularly quiet either.
Bad bait
>>107239805do they last long, or are they like disposable razors that only work for the first week? i want it to last for at least 5 years before breaking if i clean up my carpet every month
>>107239847I don't know, I've got a BOSCH one and I use it to collect coffee grounds that fall next to my grinder and cigarette ash from my car, it's been working fine for now, but it sees very little use compared to a regular vacuum.
>>107239887why do you prefer the regular vacuum?
>>107239690>whenever it's vacuum day for my room, i have to stand out of the way for her to vacuum under my table
>>107239920Because I have a 2000 W vacuum that easily lifts the rug off the floor and can actually clean a whole home. Think of handheld vacuums as a secondary device for when the mess is too small to justify the hassle of getting the big vacuum.
>>107239970oh ok. well thank you, i will see if anything is on sale when it's black friday
>>107240033I don't think they sell the really strong ones any more because of noise regulations
I have this one, it's pretty good but only lasts like 15min on high power and the canister fills up and clogs the washable filter within 15 minutes anyway, it's really only good for upholstery and small enclosed spaces like a car but it beats having to wheel out a 1500W house vacuum to clean out your car.I think costco has them for $40 rn
>>107240061were the small ones typically louder than the big ones?
>>107239690No they're all fairly disappointing.
I recently bought a Siemens Q 5.0 and can only recommend it. Killer value for money.
>>107239690>whenever it's vacuum day for my room, i have to stand out of the way for her to vacuum under my table. Why are you here if you are so young? Please go to Redd*t.
>>107239690I don't know how people type this shit out without feeling intense shame, it's like part of your brain is missing.
>>107239690I'm 31 and my mom does the same thing OP. Idk why retards are giving you shit or assuming you're young just because your mammy vacuums her house, on 4chan of all places. Anyway, I'd get a small one that plugs into the wall, the battery in a rechargeable probably isn't going to last 5+ years.
/r/ing the mom with chicken tender pasta. This post kindled nostalgia.
