I lost my phone a while back. When you're without your phone you quickly realize how much you're forced to depend on it. For example, if I didn't get it back I would've been locked out of unemployment benefits because government 2FA requires me to use my phone. You may quite literally starve if you refuse the botnet.

I really wish I could. But from the moment my parents forced a cell phone onto me I haven't been able to get rid of my mandatory tracking device. Even old dumbphones are no longer an option as the 2G network has been disabled where I live.
