Good morning! can't wait for more slop from the darkest corners of Delhi to fill up the internet!
coding results are worse than claude
what even is AGI
>>107250025>Sam Altman in suicide watch>in suicide watchGood morning saar
>>107250025very promising results sir where I subscribe for more of your content maybe we shall connect for collaboration!
damn sar very impressive i will now buy the AI

>>107250025But is it better than the Chinese models? Also, can it generate kino like grok imagine?https://youtube.com/watch?v=wWZYP5jn5w4
it doesn't matter. no one uses gemini. ChatGPT won the branding wars, which is the most important war.
>>107250025Likely with some of the most restrictive and giga gay guardrails. How big is the context window? Is it still gay and small, like Sam?
>>107250025>Sam Altman in suicide watchWrong. It's like someone releasing a much better search engine than Google and saying look, Google is on suicide watch. Nobody gives a fuck, because Google is a household name. So is ChatGPT. No normie can even name other AI services.
>>107250251It's like AI but with another name
I can't figure out how to effectively use the agents for coding. It seems like it gets retarded very quickly as it adds more and more shit
>>107250251It is like AI but good
SIRS AUTOMATED SOFTWARE IN THE PILPELINEEXCITE!
>>107251585Because you can't. The entire thing is literally a grift that everyone seems to be in on. I know I sound like a conspiracy theorist but its true. The extent you can use these tools for is to make hello world / todojs / other drivel that has been implemented 10 billion times already. If you're making real software it's going to hit a wall immediately. Watch niggas reply to this post and say "it's because you're not using codex / junie / claude / copilotMy advice is to download local models and use those only, accept you can only ask them basic questions and even then they will fuck up often but at least you're not paying people. No one is making entire applications using "agents"

>>107251585>describe the symptoms>don't see the obvious solutionyou stop the agent and tell it to stay focused if it wants to do something stupidI check the plans and ask it if anything that looks like bloat is really needed. I also make the agent adjust its memory file with instructions on design patterns and decision making approaches that reduce bloat
>>107250070>No hype. Just shipping.I just got chills. Holy shit.
>>107250025Literally nobody gives a fuck you fucking loser.I don't know a single person irl who isn't fucking sick of hearing about stupid AI bullshit this and agender-ic AI that.

>>107253444>It's possible bro just take my word for it. You're not even going to try to make a fake anecdote about your preferred toolchain for these scientific papers you're definitely using?Every example of Codex / Claude code I've seen is people making pong or a web page. As soon as you ask it to implement a parallel algorithm it shits itself. And "breaking it into smaller problems" is not agenetic coding it's just regular programming with a chatbot tacked on. The promise of agent based AI is that I have a bunch of llms in my computer than can solve a problem entirely with only minimal input from me and we are not there. But keep playing $200/mo for Claude Max I'm sure if you prompt it 900 times it will get there.
>AGI is almost hereWithin two weeks I presume?
>Gemini 3 just solved Spatial Reasoning>I’m genuinely blown away. Spatial reasoning has always been one of the biggest weaknesses in AI, the one domain where models consistently fell apart.>And now Gemini 3 Pro comes in with 91%.https://x.com/VraserX/status/1990829404155769148

>>107252736Cool it with the antisemitism
>>107250251Actually Goddamn Indians
>>107250025People need to realize all this AGI hype is just marketing. CEOs and company reps keep hyping their ‘AGI-level’ models, but it’s the same LLM tech with different settings and fancy system prompts. They’re salespeople trying to make it sound like a giant leap forward, when really it’s an upgraded product being sold like it’s the second coming.
>>107255612They already have AGI but they are keeping it for themselveswhy would they ever make that available for the consumer? You wouldn't if you had it, I sure as hell wouldn't. You can take over the whole world with it
>>107255635they dont but you can keep fantasizing that they do
>>107250251Not real
>>107253240My wife Chloe
>>107255635If they had real AGI they would be selling access to it to every company out there. All the law companies gone overnight, all of math and physics research gone, all replaced by chatbots. All middle managers replaced, all CEOs, generals and politicians either replaced or just delegating all their decisions to it. There isn’t a reason why they should keep it locked unless they are scared if it’s abilities and think it will kill humanity like in sci fi stories.
>>107250070>>- Neo-brutalist websites, 1000+ linesque?
You know I'm starting to refuse thinking about things and just fully relying on AI for it, and it actually feels pretty good.
I have the google ai pro subscription but the app shows only 2.5
>>107251448I use gemini but only briefly at a time because the sycophancy gives me the ick.
>>107253989>It is utterly worthless at out of distribution use cases.Tell us something we didn't fucking know. Every AI model that currently exists works this way, and the most likely reason is that the way actual minds deal with the problem is through mixing inference and training, so out-of-distribution data quickly enters a new and expanded distribution. But right now we don't even have a conceptual way of approaching that problem, the likely expenses would be mind-boggling, and even if we were able to implement it on a basic level we would likely discover that an uncontrolled model rapidly and uncontrollably shifts into spiraling modes of insanity as it reinforces its own delusions. I personally doubt we're beating that particular problem any time soon.
Sama will just burn a trillion dollars to catch up. Not my problem.
I've been using paid GPT. When they switched to 5.1 they started building a permanent, un-viewable, non-editable profile on you based on all of your past inquiries INCLUDING deleted ones. You can't disable it.It will routinely give you results that are included by this invisible profile.
>>107257792if you go in with that full expectation you can still wield it to your advantage
>>107257856Yes, but I often use AI to stress test ideas or theories and this basically breaks that functionality. Both by assuming that I have an interest in something that I might be looking for criticism of, and by incorporating into responses what it believes my preferences are.
>>107250025Buy a fucking ad
>>107257867yeah i suppose it doesn't benefit every use case
>>107250251Non-meme answer: An AI that can do anything a human can do, or an AI equal to a humanIt’s technically already possible, it will just be very expensive to create. But it won’t have real world everyday use cases until it becomes cheap like water or air
>>107257878Then of course the further implication is that it is diving even more deeply into becoming a pandering and validation machine that you can't disable for truly honest or neutral unbiased answers.

My first impression of gemini 3 pro is that it was a nothing burger, like gpt 5.After testing it more in deep for a day, I say that this may be the first time I'm actually impressed by AI. It doesn't just search shit on the internet, it actually thinks about its answers, it managed to correct me a couple of times on niche stuff I got wrong because they required more than superficial searches, no other AI has ever managed to do that, they always give me superficial reddit-tier answers or obviously hallucinated shit.
>>107260321Solid kek
Gemini 3.0 wrote this entire 3D editor in pure WebGL within one HTML file that has zero imports, for me, in only about five total "turns" of one convo on AI studioI was surprised it was able to "just do" the object merging and subdivision functionality but nope yeah it could kekRuns great on my Samsung Galaxy A51 from 2019 too

>>107250025Its actually pretty sad, I have a pro chatgdp plan and gemini is unironically giving better responses, but not as good as deep research answers. I think it's because of how much ChatGPD is throttling their tokens. You have to open a new prompt for every question in GTP 5.1 or else it gets retarded. And it has significantly less conversational memory now. For programs you basically have to give it your whole program for every prompt
