WHY THE FUCK CAN'T YOU CHANGE THE SCROLL SPEED ON WAYLAND ??!?!?!?!?!? ???????
FIX IT NOW FREETARDS!!!!!!!!!!
>>
Just buy a Mac bro
>>
>>107250281
You sound very soldered today
is it the planed obsolescence or the smell of feces, that attracts your attention ?
>>
Write a PR.
>>
>>107250264
lmao what?? no fucking way
>>
>>107250264
no such issue on xlibre
>>
>>107250264
makes you wonder what kind of people they are who are working on wayland, do they not use a mouse?
>>
>>107250264
Oh, I'm sorry. I can't hear you over the sound of my Xorg x-Windows system being so stable and great.
>>
>>107250264
use case?
>>
>>107250413
>You sound very soldered today
Nearly all new mobile chips have ram soldered for speed and latency reasons, you stupid fucking faggot. It isn't a mac only phenomenon anymore.
>>
>>107250521
they strike me as surface users
>>
>>107250521
>do they not use a mouse?
Use case for a mouse?
>>
>>107251419
Now ram gets suicided with the warranty too? I thought it was only the nand oh the plight of the slave
>>
>>107250264
Are you going to pay me?
>>
>It seems font-size dependent. My current font-size is 10.0 and one tick is 20 lines. For testing I changed to 14.0 size and one tick was one full page. I'm using default font in wezterm, my system is Fedora 36 - GNOME - Wayland session.

It's fucking real, what timeline do we live in?
>>
input-remapper can fix that.

though to be honest I kinda hate wayland too.
those morons limit you from listening to mouse selections and keypresses in windows because of "muh security".

fucking idiots.
at least give a way to get permissions to use those for apps that need them like every other similar shit in existence.
>>
>>107250264
Usecase for changing scroll speed?
>>
>"you can't do anything with input because 'security'"
>"no you can't have a virtual keyboard"
>"no you can't stabilise pen input"
>"wait why do people hate wayland ):"
i fucking hate redhat devs so fucking much
>>
>>107251572
Does RedHat not pay you enough?
>>
if any of wayland devs are reading this..
preventing user from listening to his own input to protect him from a keylogger is like wearing a buttplug at all times to prevent rape.
>>
>>107251796
The problem is they got raped in the ass as little boys and now pretend to enjoy it.
If that wasn't bad enough, they believe that everyone else does too. This is why faggots are like that.
Funny how consent meme has never been pushed so hard as in past century, yet it's pushed by faggots who have no idea what it's like to have your boundaries be respected, or to respect boundaries of others.
>>
You realize you could literally *change it to be whatever you want*, right?

That's the reality we live in now. Take the leap; sign up for a robust coding agent right now and you'll never look back.

AI isn't taking your jobs, but developer's who DO use AI most definitely are.
>>
>>107252220
What the fuck are you babbling about.
>>
>>107252227
Telling you to use LLMslop to modify wayland code and recompile it with correct behavior, because waylandtroons would rather do this than just use X11 that allows you to configure it.
>>
>>107252250
lmao.
ai is a shitty autocomplete that never does what you want it to do unless you do some hello world level shit.

also if you create your own fork of wayland you will have to integrate it yourself into gnome or whatever.

do you have any idea how much of work that is for one guy?
>>
>>107252285
Um, just use AI bro.
>>
>>107252227
I'm telling you to get with the times.

AI gives you superpowers. Use them.

>>107252250
I'm not trans, and I have never used Wayland. Which actually further supports my point; AI can accelerate literally any software engineering work. Servers, OS, apps, websites, games -- you name it, AI can help you achieve your true potential.

>>107252285
>ai is a shitty autocomplete that never does what you want it to do unless you do some hello world level shit.
You truly have zero understanding of how AI works, do you?

>also if you create your own fork of wayland you will have to integrate it yourself into gnome or whatever.
>do you have any idea how much of work that is for one guy?
That would indeed be a lot of work for one guy. Good thing you have a nation of geniuses to do your bidding.
>>
>>107252292
if you write anything complex it is completely incompetent.
because it is just an automated statistics.
if you work with something that has not been written many times before it is incapable of writing anything useful.

I know it for a fact because I tried many many times to do it.
>>
>>107252338
>You truly have zero understanding of how AI works, do you?
I do but it seems that you do not
>>107252351
as I stated here.
it is just a complex series of markov chains.

when you write hello world tier software it works fine.
if you do anything obscure it produces shit.

it can't even look up libraries and calls.
it invents methods for things on the fly and it just does not work.
>>
>>107250264
Maybe you should use a real OS that allows customization, like Windows.
>>
>>107252384
>I do but it seems that you do not

Oh boy.

The Singularity is going to hit you like a fucking truck.
>>
>>107252890
what do you mean?
if I am wrong somewhere I am willing to learn.
>>
>>107252939
It's rather simple: a mindset like yours will mean you will likely struggle A LOT when we reach the upwards curve of the Singularity.
>>
>>107252978
oh it will get good one day.

kek sure.
two more weeks.
>>
>>107253003
You just keep proving me right.

AI is already fucking amazing; it's not the fault of the tool if you don't know how to use it.

At the beginning of this year, ChatGPT was in the top 50 of all programmers WORLDWIDE. Think about that for a second.
>>
>>107250264
Are you serious?
I just installed Arch with KDE and the default is Wayland
Am I gonna have to go back to X11?

What makes you think speed is a metric? Please, don't leave comments if you have nothing to say. You don't need to do that. Stop wanting to do that, problem solved. Closed wontfix.
>>
>>107253026
I am talking about today and today it is not good enough for this usecase.
>>
>>107251526
>Use case for a mouse?
point n click games?
>>
>>107253185
Oh it most certainly is.
>>
>>107253330
have you tried it?
because i did.

as I stated above it starts to bring methods from diferent version of a library or from different languages or from different other protocols like x11 and those do not work.

you have in result a code that looks like something that might work but it does not.
and when you spend hours fixing it you find out that the thing you are trying to do is not possible to do this way and you have to start over.

I had this experience more than once at this point.
and I use many different models including calude
>>
>>107253357
what I mean is I am not against it - I want it to be true.
heck I am ready to pay for it.

it is just not available at this point in time.
>>
>>107251419
Ssd is soldered too
Which is basically the last nail in apple's coffin

>>107250264
This shit was a problem 20 years ago and I'm not sure why I'm surprised it's still a problem now.
Maybe in 20 more years they'll fix it, just like how it took them 3 decades to add thumbnails to the file selector.
