are hackers excited for Digital ID?
no. it cannot be hacked. only way to "hack" it is to steal the iphone that was used to input the ID.A thief would probably just go for the actual ID so they can sell it to another criminal
>>107254785Probably not, stops people having copies of scanned ID floating about on their PC, and if it’s a well implemented system, even if they trick you into verifying in their site using the ID, they won’t get any PII, just that you have a valid I’d, are above X age, so on and so forth. If the EU actually implements zero-knowledge proofs it’ll be even more robust.Of course, if it’s poorly implemented, it’ll be a field day. So ultimately it’ll depend on the competence of your politicians, and their willingness to listen to privacy minded experts. The EU’s plan looks robust (all cryptography based, only major quibble is use of shit like Google SafetyNet or similar. This wallet stuff should just run on anything, and take advantage of the hardware security features it can. If someone decides to rawdog it and use an open XP pocket pc to store their ID, that’s on them), but only time will tell.
>>107255142>it's unhackable
