lemmy is a cool low to medium traffic place (depending on the community). it's enjoyable as long as you don't expect it to become something its not.

I don't think Lemmy will ever get "big" (relatively) like Mastodon since in general Reddit is better replaced with real forums or even blogs. In contrast microblogging can only be replaced with microblogging. Then again I could be wrong because a lot of subreddits have almost entirely migrated to discord and that trend started almost 10 years ago now.
