Hi guys, so i have a note 10 plus and i have an antivirus app running in it, should i keep using this setup or install lineage os for the monthly security updates? I could use a feature phone for calls and sms and use my current phone until it dies this way? Im also using a m1 macbook because ive no money and i dont like throwing away old stuff when its working perfectly. Thanks.

Don't worry just keep using it. Flash lineage OS once the stock rom is missing something that would require that. I gave my brother my old note 8 to use when his s20 overheated and he's been using the note 8 for months now. It's rooted, has some old custom rom I forgot what it is that I installed maybe 5 years ago, and still works with his banking apps and such. My note 20 still works fine and had it since release day. Bought a fold 6 and really, the note 20 is probably the more comfy phone to hold and use. The note 20 is sitting as a spare, ready to root or otherwise once google cucks android next year. Also, uninstall the "antivirus" it does nothing on an android phone except harvest telemetry.
