AI fags btfo'dhttps://www.eurogamer.net/maybe-ai-is-a-creative-solution-if-you-arent-a-creative-person-dispatch-devs-take-a-firm-refreshing-stance-against-ai
>>107259418Sorry but I don't concern myself with the opinions of women and retards.
wtf is Dispatch?
>>107259677A choose your own adventure story "game" where your choices don't matter at all with an art style so generic you'd think it was made by the HR department.
>>107259418Why do people act like they're being brave for openly shitting on AI? It's one of the safest "bold" opinion you can have right now
>>107259714>where your choices don't matter at allI'm deeply, sincerely sorry some of you cannot wrap your heads around the fact that this is fantasy. That this is fiction. That this is a medium with inherent limitations
>>107259714 Please take a minute to think about the consequences, the real life, development-side consequences, of some of the things you're asking. Some suggestions I see here would literally take weeks of work in the long run, just to let you have ONE (1) specific choice, because it would create so many more ramifications that you think.

>>107259832The thing that always bothered me was, if you really think AI is a once-in-a-generation threat to our society, culture, and way of life, why take a "principled" stance and refuse to use it as a weapon against the trend? If you think AI is going to steal your job, it's time to use a webscraper to grab the names and addresses of every small business owner in your district, then use ChatGPT to write fake letters (physical) to your political representatives impersonating them all. Even if their office realizes it's fake, it demonstrates exactly how dangerous the issue is.Write a computer program to create fake screenshots of AI chatbots saying whatever, and then use an jailbroken AI model to generate text to create an infinite number of screenshots of corporate bots saying the most vile and offensive shit imaginable. Wait for a new model to be released, and then start spamming these screenshots on social media botnets ("yo, OpenAI, what the fuck is going on here?").The glowies spam sites with illegal materials when they want to take them down. What's stopping these social media warriors from doing something about AI? Put some time and money behind your words.

>>107259418i know i'm not a creative person, i've never claimed to be such, quite the opposite. but i still find it fun to make some stuff with ai tools ;)
literally every studio has placeholder assets in early builds from AI and then they replace them later if they feel like itgoing "im 100% anti -ai" means you cant use ai assets as part of the workflow to make the end result better which is inherently silly
okay I'm not a creative person and so I'll use AInow what
>>107259677gemmy game for sensitive young men where you play as breaking bad's jesse in a mecha and romance supergirl expy or a latinx bpd demon
>>107260532Then you will generate shit haphazardly, desperately trying to capture the "vibe" in your head, until you tunnel vision due to looking at AI generated images for so long. At which the point the first image that looks passable will look like a masterpiece against the ocean of garbage, so you post it and everyone around you is like, "meh," because your creative process was biased by the fact you did nothing but stare at AI art until your brain broke. This is why actual creatives using AI are so much better at it. They have stared at real art enough to provide some resistance to the mental bias effect.Though if you want to get better, remember to take breaks from paging through AI generate slop to look at confirmed "good" art and rest your brain.
>>107260587Okay then I'll do that. It seems to be working out. I was at 0 before reminder. This is 2 trillion times more than I could ever do before. And if the creatives can use AI better even better. Them using it will make AI better too. It's a good thing Adobe is recording everything they do and also training from it. Whatever happened to those programs they said poisoned AI art training?
>>107259864You say that like /g/ hasn't fallen too.
>>107260657>Whatever happened to those programs they said poisoned AI art training?they lost and got raped. but i know people like one or two names removed from me on xitter (who coincidentally either tried fleeing to poosky or lied about saying they'd leave xitter) who still insist on using nightshade and all their interactions are tanking because their art looks like shit with it LOL
>>107259418uncreative, boring, incurious people will never produce anything interesting, no matter the tools at hand.
>>107260704case in point: dispatch btwit's carried by marketers and eceleb voiceover and the fact that it's basically just a shitty dating sim with 2 choices. everything about it has been done before.
>>107259418>ai slop portrait
So the future of the industry is not using AI but instead paying youtubers and other ecelebs to shill your game to their audience of millions of zoomer faggots I'll credit them for actually putting them in the game though that's a good way of ensuring they don't just shit on it and kill your game like they usually do to the companies that adopt the "pay and pray" method with them.
>>107259418>So, where does AI come into it? Well, speaking on Wright's performance as Chase earlier this month, Herman stated: "No AI is going to do what he did."Owns a microphone awardThe only thing they can find to complain about with AI voices is weird intonation, imagine the day a Vocaloid/SynthesizerV UI for AI voice generation drops>So, yeah, honestly, AI feels like a production solution, not a creative one. There is no difference between a voice actor having to do 10 takes to get the line sounding right and a guy doing 10 generations with AI to get the line sounding right. They are on par if both have a grasp of what sounds right.
